How to Connect

Choose One of Two Approaches:


1. Use the Yggdrasil-endorsed HD client

1. Create an account.
The same account is used to log into the website and the game.
2. Download the HD client we endorse.
Yggdrasil hosts a copy of the HD client developed and maintained by Loriendal and the Warmane community. Learn more about their project here: https://discord.com/invite/wotlk-3-3-5a-hd-client-858041817043042364.
Our copy features our realmlist and addons to automatically patch your client with our features. This client supports multiple servers.
3. Log in and enjoy!
You may now start playing! If you need any help, do not hesitate to create a support ticket on Discord.

2. Set up your own client

1. Create an account.
The same account is used to log into the website and the game.
2. Install World of Warcraft here for Windows.
This is a copy of the stock WotLK 3.3.5a client.
3. Open up the "World of Warcraft" directory. The default directory is "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft". When you've found it, open up the directory called "data", then go into the directory called either enUS or enGB, depending on your client language.
4. Open file "realmlist.wtf" in Notepad.
5. Erase all file contents and change it to:
set realmlist logon.yggdrasilwow.com
